So cut yourself some slack and go with the flow. Maybe you don't do every single workout like the plan puts fwd. Or make up your own plan that works for you and your schedule! =)Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11217768726757513605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32790015.post-9079388310167710032011-12-05T06:35:34.285-06:002011-12-05T06:35:34.285-06:00as Princess Liea told her dad in the movie Star Wa...as Princess Liea told her dad in the movie Star Wars ( or Star Wares: A New Hope for the whipper snappers), "The more you tighten your grip, the more star systems will slip through your fingers."

I think that can be said too of our running mojo, our proverbial star system. The more that we try to 'fit' our mojo into a running schedule, if it's not the right time it won't work. The good news is that this Missing Mojo is cyclical and so we can expect it to come back. The bad news is that it is erratic and we don't always know when it will be coming back. Thankfully it's not on the same cycle as Halley's Comet!

there are a couple of things that we can do to try to nudge our Mojo back in the right direction. In cheesecake world, it's making our the oven is the right temperature so that the pie doesn't split in the center during cooking. First, find a couple new runners blogs or podcast... Find a fresh perspective. Two, sign up a local race that's really soon, like this weekend and run with the last few runner, staying at their pace... Be their mentor. Three, volunteer at the race: offer to pull double duty with one of the being at the Finish Line.

Our running mojo is like a phoenix, it never dies but it does need to be reborn out of the ashes.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14622921805056352269noreply@blogger.com
