OK - this break from running is getting difficult. It is 2/3 done, though, thankfully. Undeniably, I miss running. I have been thinking about it, and I've decided that the training is TONS more fun that the race itself.
Due to a very busy (and fun) upcoming weekend, I was up at 5:15 AM to get in my 30 minutes on the elliptical. Another quick DVD! I'm just amazed with the machine... I feel like I have really gotten a good workout (my quadriceps really get a good workout, which is something semi-rare in running, as it is the hamstrings that usually get into Olympic shape). And, since it's in my garage, it's even easier. My husband was very smart to purchase it and set it up with the TV/DVD the way he did!
