SF10 Miles Trained To Date: 82.75
Well, I did it! I managed to accomplish another mid-week run. Instead of the 6-mile tempo run I was supposed to do today, I opted to do the interval training that I missed last week. I figured it would be more beneficial - and certainly more fun. So right after work I headed to the high school track. Again I did ladder intervals, with the longest interval being a half mile. I was quite surprised at how fast my resting laps were, and even more surprised at how easy it was for me to do sub-10 fast laps. Go me! I did all five miles, including the slow recovery laps, in 55:42 (average 11:09 pace, 171 beats per minute). Wowee! It was great.
