How does one who can't run keep busy? Here's how.
I got a new cel phone! My old one had seen better days. It had been dropped while running (and otherwise) a bunch, and it had dried sweat all in the battery area (sorry if TMI). Good thing I finally got a fuel belt for such things -- albeit a little late. R.I.P. old $20 phone.
Last night I had a hot date. Chasen and I went to see Spirit Of The Marathon. I loved it. L-O-V-E kind of love. It is so very inspiring. I highly recommend it. It is returning to theatres in February, FYI.
I have thought of a major positive to not running: all of my bad areas on my feet can properly heal, i.e. blister prone areas.
I am on the verge of getting a bike! (Do you see a theme? Not running = spending money!)
Tomorrow I get to go with friend K and her mom J to the largest bridal store in the South to be a dress critic. After that is when the bike-buying may ensue.
And I have been thinking heavily about what is next for my in my profession.
How on earth did I ever have time to train for races?!? :)
That's what has been up with me! I hope everyone is doing well.

Keep us posted! I love how your brain is going into OVERDRIVE now you're not running. I recognise that..
Too busy to miss the running thing! I bet you are enjoying sleeping in :-)
Folks like you will always be busy!
Keep your reports coming in to the Extra Mile Podcast!
Excellent! I know a lot of folks who can't run for one reason or another get depressed. I think it's wonderful you are staying quite busy. I can't wait to hear more about your bike!
