New Adventures

Here is the "main drag" of my new neighborhood. It's long and fairly flat. It's easy to make a big loop and accomplish one mile.

But if I head north just a bit I can run in the unbuilt portion of the neighborhood, which is even nicer!

Nice and empty - or is it 4am in the morning? And if Chasen and yourself buy me a beer the party trick is on. And then it will be your turn!

The advantage to running on a treadmill? I can change my scenery by just putting in a new DVD...

The disadvantage to running outside? The same ol' routes do get boring!

I have already decided to run in one direction when my long runs get to be longer than they are now...

I have a friend that is dreading coming to get me. He wanted to ride the bike alongside, but I don't want to ride on the back of a bicycle after a 20 miler...

I've been diagnosed with peroneal tendon tears, myself. Currently 1 month into wearing the boot, and rapidly losing hope.... But it seems like you've managed to recover without surgery. Congratulations--what an inspiration!

Nice neighborhood pictures.
Good advice we received: Never let more than 48 hours go by between runs.
Good luck!

Hey girl, your new neighborhood looks like one of the Maumelle neighborhoods we ran in with the Little Rock Marathon training group.
I am so glad to read that your running is progressing!!
