I got out there this morning at 5 AM for another 5K. The first mile was great. The second one wasn't. I walked more than I ran, actually. The third was a little better. No new PR today! Oh well.
I am contemplating doing a real 5K on July 3rd. It's the Firecracker 5K and it benefits St. Jude's. The only thing? It's at 7 PM. Yuck! Heat! Why don't people schedule races at 5 AM? LOL

Well, they can't all be PRs. Good luck on your Firecracker 5K. There was one evening race on July 4th around Orlando last year that canceled because not enough people had signed up. Another one held in the morning had thousands of runners. Go figure ...

Hey Susan the Big Damn Bridge 5k is at 7:00pm. I did it last year and it was hot.
