Aah - my favorite five mile loop! The 5-miler days make me get up even earlier, which I really like. There's something wonderful about being up before most of the world. I feel very accomplished and happy.
It was 37 degrees and I felt great. I listened to my favorite radio morning show all the while.

Mile 3: 12:17
Mile 4: 11:42
Mile 5: 11:53
Total: 1:00:40
Average: 12:08 per mile, 160 beats per minute (heartrate)

Did you intentionally slow down on Mile 2 or what it due to terrain. Could you have held the 11:53 pace for another mile?
Just a couple of questions... sounds like you had a great run.
Sounds like you have a real routine going. I know that the 5 miler became my friend :-)
