LRM Miles Trained To Date: 309
Today I decided to do my interval training "properly," i.e. on the treadmill. Off to the gym I went! I did the "speedy" miles at an 11:00 pace and the recovery miles at 12:00 or so.
Tomorrow is my favorite 5-mile loop!
I have fifteen marathons under my fuel belt. Thirty-five more to go.

How do you perform your interval training on the treadmill?
I bet she is using the treadmill speeds to keep her at a steady pace for a fixed amount of time, and changing the treadmill speed for recovery.
Enjoy the 5 miler! You have truly embraced the dreadmill (now just a treadmill - or maybe your "tempomill").
treadmills are very handy for interval work. If you are inconsistent at pacing like I am most of the time, the intervals on the treadmill work wonders.
In addition you can do the Fast Finish that Matt from the Dump Runner's club talks about...
