Elijah checks in for his stem cell transplant on October 29th, so he won't be able to go trick-or-treating. As such, his parents had a Halloween party for him last night. Mother-in-law went as a court jester, Chasen went as the current football coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks, and I went as -- what else -- a runner. Specifically, I went as a member of Team Elijah.

Nice! Way to represent Team Elijah. I am glad he had a nice party!
I was just getting my halloween stuff out of the attic over the weekend and Elijah had his party already. I'm glad you got to go.
As I work the swing shift, I generally get to experience halloween once every 7 years. I know how Elijah could feel. Of course, I have old and jaded eyes. Not young and fresh thinking of tricks and treats.
I wish him well! What a fun thing to do and participate in!
