This morning at the gym I picked up a map of town printed by a local real estate company. Tonight I decided to highlight each road just in Benton that I have run (that I can remember). Over and over. A zillion times.

I have fifteen marathons under my fuel belt. Thirty-five more to go.

I use this website: www.mapmyrun.com to calculate mileage and find new routes.
So is SouthEast Benton not good enough? Huh? ;-P
Makes perfect sense to me. I think variety is very important mentally and physically.
Pretty cool! And if I ever find myself in Benton without a clue where to go, I know who to ask! :-)
That's a cool map you have outlined. I should do that with the huge DC area map they sell and see where I've been.
After 5 years of solitary running, three years ago I started group running and it rejuvenated my running, nay, my life. I now have a commitment to running, and a new circle of friends, that has made my life prosper. I never knew what I missed those first five years although, in a running sense, they were pretty terrific years for me anyways.
One of the reasons I have really been enjoying meeting the LR Marathon training group with Cheryl is because it is a change of scenery. I am blessed with great running friends, but sometimes I think if I run certain roads one more time in Cabot I might scream! But by changing the scenery once a week or so has really helped. Luckily I get to do it with many of my running friends.
