R.I.P. Da Boot!

That's right, I will no longer be wearing DA BOOT! I saw Dr. C today and it went very well. It was rather quick, in fact. Based on my lack of pain, he thinks I have "done well" with staying off it. So the plan is, I will now wear DA BRACE (which he refers to as "The Gauntlet" - ha ha) full time. And effective immediately I can bike whenever I want! I'll do that for 2 weeks. Then I can start walking. Whoo hoo! If that also goes well -- brace yourselves -- in another two weeks I can start running. Music to my ears! In four weeks I could be running!

He thinks the chronic swelling will eventually subside. I have to go back in three months for a follow-up.

This is such good news! I couldn't be happier. :)

Wowee! What good news! I'm thrilled to read it. Well done for all your restraint - I know it's been hard - but it looks like it's paying off.

Woo Hoo! Yay!

So, I guess that patience is a virtue! An investment in rest and time off that paid off big time!

Congratulations, Friend!!!
