Elijah's Lemonade Stand

Even though Chasen had a very sore back from moving in my very heavy office shelving system (bless his heart) we made it to Elijah's Lemonade Stand just fine. He even drove part of the way so I could nap.

The stand was set up out in front of Dickey Stephens Park, home of the Arkansas Travelers (a minor league baseball team). The Talley Family has a good friend who made this prime location possible.

This park is THE place to be for local baseball.

The stand started three hours before the game began. Shortly after Chasen and I arrived, guess who showed up? THE Arkansas Travelers, just after their practice/warm-up! They looked so young, I thought they were a teen team. Ha!

Five or so Travs came up and got some lemonade. How neat! Chasen is on the far right in the orange cap.

Heeeeeere's Elijah! Check out his adorable "chemo curls!"

The tallest player in the above photo, outfielder Brian gave Elijah a signed bat and some game-played batting gloves. Very cool!

Elijah serves up some lemonade for the Travs with help from his mom Dawn as his brother Cody supervises at left.

The next thing we knew, infielder Ryan came in the tent and sat and told Elijah how he had just battled thyroid cancer last year and they compared "war wounds." How nice! Ryan saw to it that we ALL got free tickets to the game. Thanks! And somewhere along the way Elijah got a baseball signed by the whole team.

Elijah and the Arkansas Travelers. Generous Ryan is on the far right.

After all was said and done, we got home around midnight. It was a great day!

Elijah's Trade:
What this means is that I will donate the profits from this trade to Elijah's Lemonade Stand.

I got the trade just for Elijah and you can follow at home:
This is the trade of Elijah's

MTB AUG 08 $65 PUT

The company is M&T Bank Corporation

and this is PUT option which means we want the stock price to go DOWN (given that it's a financial company that's should be easy).

I bought this option for $380. Currently it's worth $945

I will continue to hold this option until one of these scenarios happen:
1)The Stock Price shows no more weakness and looks as if it will start to increase

2)It reaches $760 which I will close the trade out for 100% profit of my purchase price... $380 to Elijah, $380 back to me

3)This Option will expire on August 21st. I will close it on Aug 1st to preserve any time value left in the option

Elijah is such a handsome young man, so reslient. And the Travs are such a great bunch of young men. I went to a minor league baseball game on Mem Day, dollar admission and dollar dogs. It was a blast! And the game was great (a slugfest with some weird plays). My date kept marveling at how young the "boys" were. They looked young all right!

That is so COOL! What a treat to have the team come by and give him so many priceless goodies. They do indeed look young to me!
