Late this afternoon I took the ole Maggie dog out for a long walk with me. I must say, she slowed me down! So I let her dawdle along, sniffing everything in sight, for 2.25 miles, then I took her home. I did the remaining 1.75 miles alone. The splits were 17:49, 18:29, 17:11 and 16:37. I felt great!
The weather has turned cold, at least temporarily. It was 44 degrees this morning when Maggie wanted out pre-dawn. Brrr! It was about 50 when I did my walk. With trepidation I pulled on some stretchy pants and a long-sleeved top. I got lucky! Definitely a good enough fit for my deserted neighborhood. Chasen came home and said "Whoa! That orange shirt sure does show off the baby!" He's right. Too bad Isaac wasn't poking out more this AM. Oh well.
Tonight I am going to a meet-n-greet for the new bunko group that is starting in my neighborhood. I feel privileged to have been asked to join, being the new kid on the block. Hopefully I'll meet lots of nice ladies.
Lisa mentioned doing 8 miles this Saturday. I think I'll try to tag along. She's training for the St. Jude Half Marathon. Go Lisa!

That is so funny - earlier today is the very first time I ever heard of Bunko - there is a group starting at work! If only I had time :-)
It must be a lot more fun being pregnant.. with all the cute clothes there are now!!
Fun to make new friends! And maybe you'll end up with some new walking/running partners too :-)
So, how was Bunko? My neighbor has Bunko night about once a month...which I didn't know it existed until I moved here!
Good for you for getting involved.. I'm going to go and google bunko now. Am feeling distinctly out of the loop...
I have heard about Bunko. I haven't explored it to play it, but it sounds like people LOVE it.
