Other than my 7.5 mile walk on Saturday, WORK consumed my weekend. Welcome to self-employment, they say. I did get the pleasure of watching the NYC Marathon live online! That perked me up.
This morning, thanks to the time change, I actually got a walk in. It was about 50 degrees and I did a 5K. I felt pretty good! I had the usual start-up soreness, but I got over it. It was lovely out there! My miles came in at 17:31, 17:43 and 17:42 (i.e. fast for these days).
As Mondays go, this one was superb. As if a 5K wasn't enough, I have now achieved 99% completion status on my current project. Hallelujah! And I have a clear view of what it to come and how I'll schedule/juggle it all. Phew!
Last but not least, tomorrow is election day. I am sooooo happy it will soon be behind us.

Glad u were able to get a nice long walk in before work took over.
Great to hear that your project is near done! Sounds like you worked long hours on this one. So, how do you like self-employment?
Congrats on your 5K and near project completion! I'm sure the latter is a big relief.
Can't wait until this election is over too!
Well done! Working for yourself can be pretty tough in terms of time management (evenings / weekends anyone?) but with practise it really sets you free.
