Progress

No, not running progress -- nursery progress!

Isaac's nursery started as our spare room / Chasen's "man room."

Oatmeal colored spare room. Fresh paint when we moved in!

Due to the bedding we chose, we decided that TWO paint colors would be best, so together we installed a chair rail.

Same oatmeal paint, new chair rail. Future paint still in buckets!

If we'd had the ability to get the room cleaned out months ago, I would have painted the room myself. I actually like to paint! But at this point, it hurts to bend down, I don't trust myself up on a ladder, and oh the fumes! So we hired the same nice fellow who painted it the first time.

Green and yellow: of course the official names of the paint are much fancier.

Here is a collage of the room with the furniture and bedding added.

It's a "crib for life." The bedding is called "Antique Toys." It has sailboats, trucks, footballs, baseball bats, cars, etc. on it. Thus the truck nightlight!

And here is the room post-shower. I have a lot of washing and organizing to do. Fun!

We've found the perfect chair to go in the opposite corner. It should arrive in about 12 more days.

Susan,

It looks great!!! Love the colors!!! And what a cool bed...that is one of those that they can use as a kid bed and then a bed when they are older, right? Awesome.

Susan, you really have a knack for interior decorating. That room looks like something I'd see in a model home -- BEAUTIFUL!!
