I have been working like a madwoman. I have another pesky deadline. It has been tough because Isaac is wanting more and more attention. Chasen stayed home on Friday so I could get some uninterrupted work time. And I worked 8 hours over the weekend, also. Such is life!
On Saturday, one day after Isaac began to roll halfway over, a little of this started happening:
Yay! How exciting! He has done it only a few times since then, which is fine by me. I don't want him to grow up too quickly.
"Mommy, I am still your little baby boy. Now go run!"
I have another week's worth of training lined up. No more heart rate runs, thankfully. Those require a lot of attention. Just simple mileage with some speedwork built in. Hooray!

The boy is ADORABLE, working and being a mommy is hard, training will help...
Keep it up girl - you're doing a fabulous job.
Exciting indeed! So fun to watch him growing up.
And, yes, one of the "bad" things about working at home is that work often carries over onto weekends. But beats having to go work in a real office, no?
Aww! He's so cute! I'm amazed that you manage to balance work/home/fitness so well! If I was as busy as you my runs would start falling off the to do list...
very nice to see his development Susan. It's a pretty exciting time. Soon you'll be lending him the car keys! I hope you're able to run early this week to avoid the heat!
Delightful. Good for you to cherish him in the moment and acknowledge how fast it goes by.
awesome. makes me cry. my boys are too big now, not only to control, but to do the baby stuff I miss!
