Quick update here! Yesterday morning in Arlington I did a 2-mile tempo run. It was an out-and-back from my hotel. I passed right by Ameriquest Field, where the Texas Rangers play baseball. I did it in 21:21:44. That's an average pace of 10:42 per mile.
My soreness from the longrun lasted only about an hour, if that. No kidding! I was pleased.
When I returned home late last night, I immediately saw that my husband had purchased us an elliptical trainer for our garage (pictured here). He even sprang for a small TV to go above it. How cool! He got a good deal on a display model.
It's good to be home. Now all of my thoughts are on the WWH!
