Fit Camp, Night #4

This was my first Friday session at Fit Camp, since I have been out of town for the past two weekends. I showed up right as it began. We were to do "mountain climbing," which means getting in push-up position and basically running in place (with our hands on the floor). Then we moved on to the exercise ball. We had to put it between our feet and lift our legs. OUCH. That was a workout. We did several exercises with the ball, including old fashioned crunches. We didn't do any direct armwork tonight. We broke into three groups, and it was quite an elaborate scheme. Group one (my group) had to go downstairs and to squats (10 of them) as group 2 was upstairs doing various lunges and ab work. There was a third group that started a bit later. Basically, at one time there was a group downstairs doing squats, a group upstairs working, and third group going either up or down the stairs en route to one of the workouts. So, we got it all - including a bit of cardio. After all that we headed outside. We walked across the parking lot doing lunges, then we switched to side lunges. Owee! We finished with a short run and a short walk. All in all it was a great night; the exercise ball was difficult but well worth it.
