LRM Training Run #9, HOT easy run

LRM Miles Trained To Date: 35

This morning I did my run in 74 degree weather! It's just insane. Mother Nature must have a stand-in doing her job. It reminded me of the early days of WWH training last summer.

It was an easy run, and I must admit that I was just "getting it done," at least at first. I am always amazed at how I can start a run (on occasion...) with a tired, almost-apathetic attitude, but then just a few hundred yards into it I'm on top of the world! I'm brainstorming solutions for problems, planning for the near and distant future, and trying to make myself put a positive spin on otherwise worrysome potential events. In essence, running makes me just plain better.

Mile 1: 11:51
Mile 2: 12:12
Mile 3: 11:23
Total: 35:26
Average: 11:49

Now I must charge my Garmin for my very hilly 8-mile longrun tomorrow. Rather than an out-and-back, I have planned a tour through several parts of my town (all of which I've ran through before -- safety first!!!)
