LRM TR#29, Rural Solitude

LRM Miles Trained To Date: 165

My generous boss gave us a half day off today, so I decided to run this afternoon. In truth, I was just too tired this morning. My husband surprised me by coming home early, also. He drove me out five miles and again "left me for dead" and I ran home. It was a very different type of run. I had no iPod AND no Garmin. I must have left it on in front of the computer last time, because when I turned it on out there it said it had zero battery. Curses! So I just did a leisurely, easy five miles. All I had with me was a water bottle and a cel phone. It was oh so peaceful! It was not a struggle. Today, as they say, I was "on."

are you starting to think... "ehh, I'm just running 5 miles?"

Sounds like a relaxed run. Sometimes a break from the electronic devices is fun.
