A Reminder

It has come to my attention that due to extremely hot temperatures, among other things, many of us have "lost our running mojo." Not good! And I am the first to raise my hand and admit it! So... unless one of us can figure out how to cut a deal with Mother Nature, I think we are all going to have to just suck it up and move forward. We really have no other choice! This photo served as a reminder to me of true grit... and we all need a little from time to time! So here ya go - take it for what it means to you.

So let's call a truce: no more belly-aching! Let's get out there and do our best. Are ya with me? Let's turn our frowns upside-down!

What an inspiration!

Yes, I feel lucky to be able to run, even though I may not feel like it at times. I just visited my sister-in-law in Lawton yesterday. She was in ICU at a hospital (long story) and I realized how pathetic it was for me to be complaining about the weather.

No more!

You have some cool stuff in this blog. A cool training log, a neat tally log of mileage, a great cause to run for, a nice boy to introduce us all to. Keep up the good work!
