I don't have a known fear of small spaces, but as I hopped up on the machine that looks almost identical to the one below, I started to wonder. Fortunately, I only had to slide in about 'waist deep' so the discovery of the fear was never realized.
It took about 45 minutes, and I was listening to music (via headphones) the whole time. It was quite a loud machine! The technician said that I did a good job of holding still. Afterwards, Chasen called. He reminded me that when he had an MRI (due to pancreatitis two years ago) he was on morphine and had no problem keeping still. Ha!
My images will be viewed by staff this afternoon and the findings will be conveyed to Dr. C afterwards. It will be probably tomorrow or Monday before I know anything.

I think I fell asleep during my MRI several years ago. I remember hearing some thumping but anytime I lay down and relax, I'm usually out soon :-)
Hope the results don't show you need surgery. Regardless, I love your attitude!
Good luck Susan. I'm with Shirley, I hope all is well and no surgery is required.
Just heard you on the podcast. I love your voice. It sounds so sweet and professional. ;-)
Hey Susan I hope that your injury is not serious!
You seem to have a great attitude about it. I would be cursing and swearing, and wanting to run...even without the caffein...
On the caffein note...I gave up diet cola more than a year ago. Prior to that I was a diet Pepsi guy and drank 2 or 3 a day. Since October 2006 I have not had a soda of any kind.
always a trooper!
The waiting is the hardest part!!
I really hope whatever the outcome it will be an easy fix. NO surgery hopefully!
I'm thinking good thoughts for you!
Please let us know as soon as you get the report. I have been thinking about you and your ankle. I am hoping for the best for you. And I agree with Annette. Waiting is the hardest part!
Waiting... Waiting... Waiting... Geez... I do hope my friend is alright. Of course, I thoguht the MRI would deal with m6y fiorend's head as that seems to be the cause of many problems, but this time it must be physical!
(Just kiddin'!)
Charlie (Q2)
Nothing I can add to anyone else's comments. We are all thinking of you!
