Chasen returned from his business trip really, really sick: congestion/cold to the MAX. So I thought I'd skip pilates this morning, if need be. He encouraged me to to go anyway. I needed to go out and pick up more supplies, anyway. So off to the gym I went. We still have a bit of lingering snow, so the scenery was quite nice.
Upon arriving, there was only a handful of cars in the parking lot. I feared I'd be the only one in the class. At 9:57 AM I went down to see Tonya. We both figured I'd be the only one there, so I encouraged her to go to her oldest son's jiu jitsu competition. I told her if anyone showed up I'd put them through a routine. HA!
No one showed, as I suspected. So I decided to do a Tonya-free personal training session. I'm happy to say that I did everything I could remember us ever doing (on both leg days and upper body days). I did that for 32 whole minutes! I was quite proud. I am feeling very accomplished! And I am asking myself why I don't regularly go in one extra day each week and do this.
Next I went to Walgreen's where I proceeded to purchase massive amounts of Gatorade and chicken noodle soup, plus some Mucinex (which does not require signing for, I learned). As I drove away the passenger side seat belt alarm dinged at me -- that's how much all of my loot weighed! So I had to buckle up my groceries. Ha!
When I got home and told Chasen all about it, he said Tonya would soon be asking me to work at the gym. Ha ha ha! Doubtful...

Way to go at the gym! You are turing into quite the gym rat!
I hope Chasen feels better soon. This thing that is going around lingers forever.
I think you only have to sign for things that are used to in the recipe for meth. Apparently Musinex isn't an ingredient :-)
I hope that Chasen feels better. Mucinex is much better alternative than taking 3oz of Robitussin for the same amount of exportant.
I wouldn't have doubted that you would strayed from your work out
Good job. I can't wait for my new gym to open up so I can follow your lead. Love the snow picture also. So pretty.
Good for you for getting to the gym - sounds like you're ready to be the instructor! I've never taken pilates before - I'll need to take a trial class from u!
Sorry to hear Chasen is sick - never any fun. My daughter just caught a cold too - and last nite, my daughter headed to Feverville, USA. So much for a nice spring break ;-)
Oh poor Chasen - wish him well! And well done on the gym work - impressive!
Nice work at the gym! I need to get back to the weights.
Hope Chasen is feeling better!
and I am frying here in Southern Cal....
You may want to post a video of you giving the class to us!!!
Bummer that Chasen is sick. I hope he doesn't give it to you. I sometimes get sick if my husband is sick.
Good job in the gym!!
Way to go! That is good of Chasen to encourage you to go anyway.
I hope Chasen gets better soon!
