We met at 5:45 AM. We did quite a bit of walking to warm up (a full mile, according to Lisa). Then we got to it! It was so pleasant; we talked about everything under the sun. I loved it! And we really motivated each other to keep going. It was great.

The city park was quite nice. And huge! There are all sorts of ball fields there, pavilions, a pond with a large dock (and someone was already fishing), a track (hooray!) and NICE restrooms.
We did our miles in 13:47, 14:17, 14:50 and 15:04. Obviously we did a bit of walking -- but not as much as I would have done running on my own. So thanks, Lisa!

Thanks for the post. I miss the south. Your pictures are beautiful and bring back good memories.
Thanks for the props! Again I really need to thank you. If not for meeting up with you, I would have slept in. I am not a morning person. Instead I feel GREAT and got in the miles I was short on Monday...
Cool that you got to meet up with Lisa! And that park looks so nice. Glad the run went well.
Beautiful park! Sounds like you had a great time and are meeting some wonderful people to run with.
