Pray For Elijah

Unless you've been living under a rock (or are new to this blog), you know that this is my dear friend Elijah, age 7. To catch the newbies up, Elijah has fought Neuroblastoma (a form of childhood cancer) twice already in his young life. Two stem cell transplants, endless chemo and testing... this guy is a true HERO.

Unfortunately, some NEW Neuroblastoma has shown up in Elijah's body. So the Talley Family is gearing up for yet another battle with the cancer monster. Haven't they been through enough?

A new plan is in effect. They're starting chemo at Arkansas Children's Hospital, where Elijah has always received all of his treatment. Then, he's going to go to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for further treatment. For specifics, check out his website. His mom, Dawn, does an excellent job of keeping everyone up to date there.

I'd like to request that all members of Team Elijah (and all blog peeps) put in some extra prayers for our hero. And I will send anyone who requests one a Pray For Elijah reminder band. Let's help to conquer the cancer monster!

Seriously, this guy is amazing -- I'd place my money on him over Michael Phelps any day!
