Speed Queen!

Boy I had a fast one today! (for my current standards) The outdoors was NOT like pea soup as it was on Tuesday, and that helped for sure. I did 4 miles, and each mile actually got faster: 15:17, 15:15, 15:09 and 14:50. I was moving!

Tomorrow night is my 4-mile race in Memphis with Lisa. Cool! I think it's supposed to rain babies and bottles, but I will be there (unless there is lightning).

Last night I made some homemade whole wheat bread. The recipe is courtesy of fitnessrocks.org:

I've never made a good loaf of bread that didn't involve a bread maker machine (which I do not currently own). This turned out a bit doughy (which I actually like), and is even better toasted.

Raining babies and bottles? Sounds appropriate but I've never heard that saying before. Have a great race and enjoy the bread.

I like doughy bread too. Good luck tomorrow!

Good, you found everything. I took a picture for you of the oat flour and gluten next to each other! Great to hear about the speed increase. I am assuming that your ankle didn't complain too much...
