Another Great Holiday Together

Merry Christmas! It has been a good one for us. This is mine and Chasen's fifth Christmas together (1st engaged, 2-5 married). They have all been wonderful. This year is extra special... we're 2 1/2 people! This is our last year as a dynamic duo. Next year we'll be a terrific trio, watching 10 month old Isaac play with the boxes his gifts came in!

I got some awesome gifts. All I requested was a new water bottle and some running socks. Chasen was not thrilled with that short list. Needless to say, I got more. But some items of note are both a membership to the Memphis Runners Track Club and a promise from Chasen to do another 5K with me in 2009. Cool! I said "If you're running, and I'm running, where will Baby Isaac be?" His answer was "Lisa can hold him." Ha! I said "But she'll be running it, too (I am sure)." So we'll just make it a race for the THREE of us (meaning Baby Isaac, who is due in a mere 60 days - yikes!). Now that's a date!

We decided to go out to eat Christmas dinner this year, since cooking takes sooooo long. We tossed around some ideas and settled on Paula Deen's Buffet. All I can say is YUM YUM YUM. Money and time well spent!

After getting home and letting my food settle for a while, I went out for a 2.25 mile walk. I did it quite briskly, and I did it outdoors since it was a beautiful 50 degree day here. It was just lovely! And I needed to catch up on some podcasts, anyway. So many things were accomplished.

We'll top off this wonderful day by going to see Marley and Me later on. Looks likes a cute date movie. Merry Christmas, everyone.
