Running the Storm Out

Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. Yesterday that meant that I had to run on the treadmill as we had rain, thunder and lightning outside. Times like that make me the most thankful for good ole Teddy Tready. Even though we lost power for a split second mid-run (and I lost my stats) it was a good run. I had wanted to do a full-on dress rehearsal for the Kudzu 5K with this little guy, though:

Babies can't run in the rain, silly Mommy! Haven't I taught you anything?

We'll just "wing it" tomorrow night. The course is said to be 'challenging' so hopefully Isaac and I can make it up all of the hills! Obviously I do not expect a PR. Actually, I am going to create a PR. It'll be my stroller PR. Hey - I'm a winner already. Whoo hoo!

I had posted a comment but realized that my head wasn't on right and I misspelled little Isaacs name! Who I was saying was cuter then ever :)

As I was saying...I am loving the treadmill these days too! Just wanted to say Go Girl GO! :)

Great job getting that run done despite the rain, thunder and power-outages...you're a trooper!

Hope your upcoming run goes well! Whoo-hoo for stroller PR!!! I think that TOTALLY counts...hello! You're pushing a stroller with a BABY in it! Tough!
